Title: Research of China Rural Migrant Worker's Housing and Planning Policy in the Transition Period
Abstract: Urban and rural planning often overlooks the collective interest of rural migrant workers seriously,which leads to the lack of housing planning for them and their poor living condition.Housing issues not only relate to the interests of rural migrant workers,but also become the biggest obstacle of China's urbanization, and then restrict economic and social transition of China,for its decisive role in the process of rural migrant workers residentialization.Now,China must and have the ability to provide public housing for rural migrant workers.The government should start public housing planning for rural migrant workers legally, and integrate the mid- and low-income rural migrant workers who have worked in the city for years into urban public housing system.To integrate the rural migrant workers and the urban mid- and low-income residents into a unified urban public housing planning system is the important task of urban planning transforming to public policy.
