Besides, the reification concept in postmodernist fiction has its background of both aestheticism and modernism prevalent at the end of the 19th century and in the early 20th century. Through the application of the reification concept and with some American postmodernist canonical novels as case studies, the present article unfolds the reification landscape more common in postmodernist fiction and points out the unique postmodernist writing model of reification and anti-reification.Read More
