Title: Corrosion Behavior of Arc Spray Zinc and Aluminum Coating in Concrete Environment
Abstract: The corrosion resistance behavior of zinc, aluminum, and ZnAl15coating were compared through accelerated corrosion experiments in the concrete environment. The results show that:in the concrete landfill environment, the corrosion rate of ZnAl15coating is much lower than zinc and aluminum coating;the corrosion products of zinc coating do not have any protectve effects to the matrix;while aluminum coating can form a passivation layer on the surface to isolate corrosive objects. The corrosion products of ZnAl15coating show the characteristics of the mixture of compact and loose objects.Compared to the other two coatings,ZnAl15coating not only has the advantage of the sacrificial cathodic protection function of zinc coating, but also has strong corrosion resistance ability of aluminum coating, therefore it has lower corrosion rate and longer life-span in the corrosion environment, which has broad application prospects.
