Title: Research on diamondback moth sex pheromone and its applications
Abstract: The diamondback moth (DBM), Plutella xylostella (L.) is one of the most serious pests of cruciferous in many parts of the world. This paper reviewed the discovery, reception, synthetic methods and application of sex pheromone of diamondback moth. Factors affecting the application of the sex pheromone were discussed. Synthesized sex pheromone could be used as an important method in the integrated pest management program of DBM.
