Abstract:Unclosed energy balance was still one of the difficulties in the study of interaction between landatmospheres.One of the reasons for this imbalance was the arbitrary neglect of the heat storage flux t...Unclosed energy balance was still one of the difficulties in the study of interaction between landatmospheres.One of the reasons for this imbalance was the arbitrary neglect of the heat storage flux terms during measurement or calculation.Based on the measurement results by eddy covariance over one irrigated spring wheat field in the Heihe oasis,analyses were conducted to determine the magnitude of the heat storage fluxes during growing periods.The results showed that the ratio of total heat storage fluxes to the net radiation fluxes was about 7.5%~12%.As the crop growing,this ratio increased firstly and then decreased.Among all the terms of heat storage fluxes,soil heat storage flux undertook the most important contribution(95%).The main factors led the change in heat storage fluxes in the farmland from the solar radiation,vegetation coverage,and soil water content.Totally,the energy balance closure increased more than 10% after considering the terms of heat storage fluxes.Read More
