Title: Synthesis and performance of polyurethane modified by hydroxyl terminated polysiloxane based on HTPB
Abstract: With hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene(HTPB) as soft chain segment,isophorone diiso-cyanate(IPDI) and MOCA as hard chain segment,hydroxyl terminated polysiloxane(HO-PDMS) as modifier and silicane coupler(DB-550) as cross linker,so a series of polyurethane(PU) terminated by HO-PDMS were synthesized based on HTPB.The optimal technology conditions were preferred by L9(34) orthogonal experiment method.The influences of PDMS-OH contents were discussed on the mechanics performance and water resistance of modified PU,and the aging-resistances of modified PU were mensurated.The results showed that the compatibility of modified system was improved when DB-550 was introduced in system.The PU which was synthesized by direct method had excellent mechanics performance,lower water absorption and better aging-resistances when R value was 2.5,mass fraction of HO-PDMS was 9% and molar ratio of MOCA to DB-550 was 9:1.
