Title: The Research of Optimization of Coordinated Control in Submerged Arc Furnace Mixed Reactive Power Compensation System
Abstract: Voltage drop and voltage flicker caused by electric arc-furnace have been a major concern for customers in the field of power quality. To solve the problem, a mixed dynamic reactive power compensation system with fixed capacitors(FC), static var compensator(SVC) and static synchronous compensator(STATCOM) is proposed. In the system, FC responsible for the reactive power compensation of the low cost,SVC responsible for the tracking changes of compensation of reactive power, which is to improve phase imbalance and STATCOM is used to compensate for the reactive power error of SVC and improve the accuracy of the compensation system of compensation. The three things is coordinated control by system rules judge. Test simulation for mixed reactive power compensation system, comparative analysis system into voltage waveforms before and after, which prove its compensation effect can be equivalent to the same volume of STATCOM.
