The effects of quenching temperature on microstructure, microhardness, impact toughness and wear mass loss of the die steel were analyzed. The results show that when the quenching temperature is lower, the microstructure of die steel is mainly composed of carbide; with the increase of quenching temperature, there is uniform organization; at the quenching temperature of 1200 ℃, martensite structure becomes bulky. With the increase of quenching temperature, the hardness and impact toughness of the steel increase firstly and then decrease; it obtains the maximum values at 1050 ℃. With the increase of hardness, the wear mass loss of the die steel decreases. As wear time is longer, the wear rate is lower.Read More
