Title: Application of Fiber in the Bridge Deck Pavement
Abstract: The forces condition of asphalt concrete pavement layer are complex,directly affected by traffic load,beam deformation and environmental factors,therefore higher performances of asphalt bridge deck pavement are demanded.In this paper,the asphalt concretes are modified by addition of the polyester fiber.Through water damage,rutting,low temperature bending and unaxial static creep test,the result indicate Marshall stability ratio(MSR) and tensile strength ratio(TSR) are improved by adding fiber in the asphalt mixture,and meantime,the low-temperature resistance of tensile properties and high temperature resistance of deformation of asphalt concrete mixed with fiber also are ameliorated.
