Title: Hygienic quality monitoring of drinking water in rural schools,Shouguang city,2009-2014
Abstract: Objective To understand hygienic conditions of drinking water in rural schools in Shouguang city,so as to provide basis for school drinking water hygienic supervision and scientific management. Methods In April and August,2009-2014,samples of drinking water were collected from 83 rural schools for testing,a field survey was conducted on the basic situation of water supply units,one sample of end water was collected each during the dry season and the wet season,sampled and laboratory tested according to GB/T 5750-2006 the drinking water standard examination methods,and evaluated according to GB 5749-2006 drinking water health standards. Results The qualified rates of drinking water in rural schools of Shouguang city were 70.68%,with an annual rising trend,the qualified rate was the lowest at 53.01%in2009,the highest at 89.76%in 2014(P 0.05).The qualified rate of centralized water supply samples was 80.11%,the qualified rate of scattered water quality was 65.06%(P 0.05).The qualified rate was 62.05%in the dry season,and79.32%in the wet season(P 0.05).The qualified rate was 69.59% in the high schools,and 71.56% in the primary schools(P 0.05).The qualified rate was different in different detection indexes,the qualified rate was the lowest in the total number of bacteria and Escherichia coli group at 72.79% and 73.49%respectively,and the qualified rate of the total number of bacteria and E.coli group was lower than that of other indexes(P 0.05). Conclusion The qualified rates of drinking water are low in rural schools of Shouguang city,which are seriously contaminated by microbes.
