Title: The correlation between PTEN and p27 expression in primary hepatic carcinoma
Abstract: Objective:To study the correlation between PTEN and p27 expression in primary hepatic carcinoma.Methods:The expression of PTEN and p27 was examined in 43 cases of primary hepatic carcinoma,21cases of cirrhosis and 16 cases of normal with immunohistochemical location tecniche.Results:The positive percentage of PTEN and p27 in primary hepatic carcinoma was 41.9% and 86.0% repecively,but PTEN’s trend was descending while p27 was increasing.The expression of PTEN was related to tumor number,differentiation and vascular invasion,p27 was also related to tumor size.No correlation was found between PTEN and p27 expression in primary hepatic carcinoma.Conclusion:PTEN and p27 are all tumor suppressor in primary hepatic carcinoma,but p27 have its particularity.
