Title: The Relationship and Difference between the Conceptions of Chinese Education and Chinese Teaching
Abstract: In the academic area of Chinese education,the conceptions ofChinese educationandChinese teachingalways have many divergences and are usually used in confused manners. This paper first defines these two conceptions by the methods of deduction,intension and extension descriptions which are often used to define conceptions of social science,and then distinguishes these two conceptiongs in the analysis of the differences in their purposes,goals,research scope,research objects,intension,subjects and resources. It is found that the two conceptions show the relationship of containing and being contained for each other both in terms of intension and extension. In the intension,Chinese teaching is the core part of Chinese education; in the extension,Chinese teaching,in narrow sense,is a component of Chinese education and the main approach to achieve the goal of Chinese education,but in broad sense,is just a kind of way of Chinese education.
