Title: Potassium channel in lymphocyte and their functions
Abstract: Lymphocytes express distinct ion channels and potassium channels play a critical role in physiological regulation. There are two types of potassium channel in lymphocyte: voltage gated potassium channel (K V) and calcium activated potassium channel (K Ca ). These channels participate in setting resting membrane potation, and modulation of cell mitogensis, calcium signaling and volume regulation. This information could facilitate development of specific and potent modulators of the therapeutically important channel.
