Abstract: using the plane wave expansion method for numerical simulation of different structure of two-dimensional photonic crystal band gap characteristics of TE model,numerical simulation,triangular and square is hexagonal cylindrical photonic crystal structure of the TE mode bandgap characteristics,compares the received regular triangle cylinder photonic crystal structure can form a wide TE mode bandgap structure.Change the square cylinder photonic crystal structure to form a square elliptic column structure and rectangle cylindrical photonic crystal structure is rectangular,cylindrical structure photonic crystal band gap width wide form.Study on production of TE mode filtering device for providing theoretical reference.
