Title: Preparation of FePt nanoparticles via polyol-reduction process
Abstract: FePt nanoparticles were prepared by via polyol-reduction process using Fe(acac)3,H2PtCl6·6H2O and 1,2-dodecanediol as reductans.And the effects of oleic acid and oleylamine on the dispersibility of the as-prepared FePt nanoparticles were investigated.The results show that the size of the FePt naoparticles without any surfactant is in the range of 1.0 to 6.0 nm with the average size of 3.4 nm,while the sizes of the particles is in the range of 2.5 to 5.5 nm with the average size of 4.1 nm.The as-prepared FePt nanoparticles were characterized by XRD,TEM and VSM.The results exhibit that the FePt nanoparticles were of face-centered-cubic(FCC)structure,superparamagnetic behavior and spherical shapes with high mono-dispersibility.
