Title: Study on Nitrogen Leaching Loss from the Soils in Dry Land in the Humid Region of Tropical and Subtropical Zones
Abstract: The nitrogen leaching loss from the soils in dry land at different depths (20, 40 and 60 cm) of columns was studied. The results indicated that the nitrogen leaching loss was 25.5% in the 35 days of simulated precipitation after the application of urea and under the condition of no surface flow. The leaching process and nitrogen forms, and the effects of application rate and the depth of soils on nitrogen loss by leaching were also discussed in this paper.
