In modern democracy, people's choice is divided into the two types of liberal democracy and people democracy. Although they are different in value principle, political form, advantages and problems, all of them are important achievement of modern political civilization. Chinese-style democracy is the people democracy that is one of the two types of modern democracy. The reason why currently oversea scholars and politicians pass judgments on China-style democracy is because of three factors. Firstly, the current system of people democracy has left still plenty of room for improvement. Secondly, western scholars judge China-style democracy based on the value principle and political mode of liberal democracy. Thirdly, the theoretical construction of Chinese-style democracy has lagged behind the development of the situation, and the advantages of people democracy are not presented fully.Read More
