Abstract:Based on a comprehensive survey of the contestants in the National Youngster Wushu Sanda Tournament,the thesis reveals the characteristics of precompetition anxiety and is intended to provide guidance...Based on a comprehensive survey of the contestants in the National Youngster Wushu Sanda Tournament,the thesis reveals the characteristics of precompetition anxiety and is intended to provide guidance for training,so as to improve athletes′ performance in competition.The states of pre-competition anxieties were measured and recorded against the Quantitative Standards Measuring Sport Competition Anxiety(revised edition) by Martens.The study suggests: cognitive anxiety of athletes who have long years training is lower than that of athletes who have shorter years training.The cognitive anxiety decreases as the athlete receives higher level education.The features of cognitive anxiety vary among athletes of different levels.Read More
