Abstract:Objective:Taken prunella vulgaris and discorea opposita as example,to investigate the distribution of lead(Pb),cadmium(Cd),mercury(Hg) and arsenic(As) in medicinal herbs.Method:The dissolution of the ...Objective:Taken prunella vulgaris and discorea opposita as example,to investigate the distribution of lead(Pb),cadmium(Cd),mercury(Hg) and arsenic(As) in medicinal herbs.Method:The dissolution of the herbs media were performed in wet way.The four heavy metal elements in the herbs were determined by atomic absorption spectrometry and atomic fluorescence spectrometry respectively.Result:The contents of the elements was PbAs≥CdHg.There were more Pb and Hg in the leaf and root than in the stem and fruit.The distribution of Pb and Hg in the two different herbs were largely identical.Conclusion:Pb and Hg were concentrated on the absorbing parts,the leaf was badly contaminated.There was the most amount of Cd in the root and the less amount of the four heavy metal elements in the fruit.Read More
