Title: Blood biochemics effects of Shenguibaoganshengbaidanbai Pill on experimental hepatic fibrosis in rats
Abstract: Objective : To study the blood biochemics effects of Shenguibaoganshengbaidanbai Pill(SGP) on experimental hepatic fibrosis in rats. Methods : Wistar rats were randomly divided into normal group, model group, malotilate group, and SGP 0.5, 1.0 and 2.0 g/kg groups. The experimental hepatic fibrosis model was established by hypodermic injection CCL4 and arachis oil solution for 10weeks, The activities of aspartate aminotransferase(AST), alanine aminotransferase(ALT) and Cholinesterase(CHE), and the contents of albumin(ALB), globulin(GLO) and total protein(TP) in serum. The activities of superoxide dismutase(SOD) and glutathione-S transferase(GSH-ST), and the contents of malonaldehyde(MDA) and hydroxyproline(Hyp) in liver were observed. Results :After treated by SGP(in a dosage of 1.0 and 2.0 g/kg) for 4 weeks, the contents of ALB and A/G ratio in serum were significantly increased, the activities of AST, ALT and CHE, and the contents of GLO in serum were significantly decreased, the activities of SOD and GSH-ST in liver were significantly increased, and the contents of MDA and Hyp in liver were significantly decreased. Conclusion : SGP can improve hepatic function, correct low albumin and lighten damage of lipid peroxidation in hepatocyte.
