Title: A Study in Development Trends of the World Economy and China’s Enterprise Competitiveness
Abstract: The digital economy knowledge economy and dominating role of science and technology in the global economy are currently three most important development trends of the world economy. The arrival of the digital economy makes information flow and commodity production and circulation enter the age of “zero obstacle”. The arrival of the knowledge economy lowers the importance of factors input in traditional industries. The dominating role of science and technology in the global economy enables advanced countries to enjoy the utmost upper hand in maintaining advantages in terms of patents intellectual property rights and science and technology and makes the gap between the rich and poor nations tend to enlarge. The rapid development of information technology brings about both opportunities and challenges to China’s enterprises. Chinese enterprises have to make great efforts to lift their competitiveness in order to survive and develop further.
