Title: Numerical Simulation for Blast Propagation and Attenuation Inside T-shaped Tunnel from HE-charges Detonation
Abstract: In order to define the airblast loading on protective door of underground tunnel,the exact knowledge of the blast propagation and attenuation through tunnels is required to obtain firstly.Based on the experimental data verification of tunnel model,the process of blast propagation and attenuation through T-shaped tunnels is numerically simulated.By a great deal of simulation of the different sizes of tunnels and different mass HE-charges,the distribution of approximate uniform wave and a new blast pressure attenuation coefficient inside T-shaped tunnel are obtained.By comparison of pressure attenuation coefficients by different methods,the newly obtained coefficient can be utilized to describe the propagation and attenuation features of the blast of ordinary explosive.And the results offer valuable reference to tunnel engineering protection design.
