Abstract:Medium and Long Term Guidelines for China's Educational Reform and Development (2010-2020) attaches great importance to various vocational education including art vocational education,stressing that v...Medium and Long Term Guidelines for China's Educational Reform and Development (2010-2020) attaches great importance to various vocational education including art vocational education,stressing that vocational education is the education open to the whole society and to every one which is of vital importance to the economic and social progress. The Guidelines provide macro and prospective view for us to think about the present situation of art vocational education; it is the approach and direction for the and of art vocational education. The present article argues in aspects,i. e. through and ten relations to be properly handled. The Guidelines contain clear points of middle and long term and reform and development and emphasizes developing through reform,which mainly includes six aspects:solving to improve people's overall quality,facing three contradictions to change the two inadaptations ,problems concerning inadequate ability ,resource shortage and system restriction ,establishing the idea of human education first ,overall direction to develop vocational education,and innovating the model of vocational education. Art vocational education is different from art edification in the scope of quality education. In the macro view of the Guidelines and the total direction of vocational education,the present article thinks that contemporary art vocational education should properly handle ten relations,i. e. relations between general education and vocational education,lifelong education and career education,development education and innovation education,experimental education and practical education,selfdiscipline education and other-disciplinary education,theory education and skill education,classroom education and practice education,collective education and individual education,standpoint education and horizon education,universal education and characteristic education. The publication of the Guidelines pays great attention to vocational education. In the broad view of the Guidelines,we believe that contemporary art vocational education in China will have greater opportunities and better development.Read More
