Title: Charm of Narration——On the Evolution of Story Narration Forms Since the New Period
Abstract: From mid-80s on, contemporary storywriters have dramatically changed their way of story narration from what to write to how to write. The protrusion of narration sense and the application of narrative skills have made the forms of stories diversified, and the penetrating into the in-depth psychological levels have made the contents of stories more colorful and richer in variety. The evolution of narration was particularly reflected in such aspects as: the structures of novels being more obscure while not obey ing the liner architecture; the emergence of narrators; and narration from varying angles of view. The writing style of many writers, such as Liu Suola, Ma Yuan, Ge Fei, Mo Yan, Su Tong and Chen Ran, etc., represents the transformation of forms of contemporary novels and renovation of narrating forms.
