Title: Analyses of flow pulsation in double-ring axial piston pump
Abstract: The odd plungers were generally used in axial piston pump in order to reduce the flow pulsation of the pump.The regulation range of the flow,however,was limited.To solve this problem,the structural and flow pulsation of a double-ring axial piston pump was designed and its structure as well as its flow pulsation characteristics were investigated.It was shown by the results of calculation,simulation,and experiment that,by increasing a less mass and volume of the cylinder,the capacity of pump would increase by means of increasing the number of distribution ring of operational plungers.By doing so,the flow pulsation would be reduced and the regulating range of the flow increased,also.The theoretical flow formula of the double-ring axial piston pump was derived,and the computer simulation and experiment verified its result,which was close to the reality.
