Title: Study on the weed occurrence and soil treatment of upland rice field in Shanghai
Abstract: A survey of the weeds in the Shanghai areas of planting upland rice was made and an evaluation test for 8 herbicides was also carried out in 2005 and 2006.The results showed that the weeds had 26 species under 21 genera of 12 families and the occurrence of weeds presented such distinct features as many kinds,long cycle and mixed growing of upland and wetland weeds,and that 33% pendimethalin EC,90%benthiocarb EC,23.5% oxyfluorfen EC and 36% butachlor+oxadiazon EC had a control effect on the weeds in different degrees,the 33% pendimethalin EC(495 ghm2) +10% pyrazosulfuron-ethyl WP(15~22.5 ghm2) had the longest control effect on the weeds,and one-time application could not only effectively control the weeds in the whole rice growth period but also be safe for the rice growth.
