Abstract:Aim To investigate the protective effect of EGCG on hydrogen peroxide induced SH-SY5Y cells injury in vitro.Methods The protective effect of EGCG was observed by morphological identification,MTT assay...Aim To investigate the protective effect of EGCG on hydrogen peroxide induced SH-SY5Y cells injury in vitro.Methods The protective effect of EGCG was observed by morphological identification,MTT assay,and LDH activity,while the expressions of bax and bcl-2 were detected by real-time PCR.Results Compared with the group of H2O2 control,EGCG(50,100,150,200 μmol·L-1)could relieve the damage of SH-SY5Y cells and increase the survival of the cells,lower their LDH level,and adjust the expression of bax and bcl-2 mRNA.Conclusion EGCG can protect SH-SY5Y cells from the injury induced by hydrogen peroxide.Read More
