Title: Study on polarographic catalytic wave of triptophenolide
Abstract: The polarographic behaviors of triptophenolide at different buffer systems and oxidants were studied by linear sweep polarography. The results show, the peak potential of the polarographic catalytic wave for triptophenolide is -1.03 V (vs. SCE) in 0.1 mol/L KCl, 6.0×10~(-3) mol/L H_2O_2, pH 4.3 HAc-NaAc buffer solution and its peak current is proportional to the concentration of triptophenolide over the range from 3.2×10~(-8) to 3.2×10~(-7) mol/L (r=0.9989). The mechanism of electrode reaction of polarographic catalytic wave is discussed.
