Title: Mao Zedong′s Theory of Socialist Contradiction and His Thoughts on Socialist Development
Abstract: Mao Zedong′s theoretical system of socialist contradictions is composed of four points. His theory of fundamental contradiction occupied a special place and has become the cornerstone of his ideas of socialist development. Mao Zedong holds that fundamental contradictions find expression in the two kinds of relation: man vs. Nature, man vs. Man, and he thus forms his concept of socialist development. His focus is on the bringing man′s initiatives into full play and his general concept of socialist development is thus formed. An analysis of the concept will help to have a clear understanding of Mao Zedong′s 20 years′ theory and practice in socialist construction.
