Title: Determination and Analysis of Polysaccharide from Capparis spinosa Ripe Fruits by HPCE
Abstract: OBJECTIVE To isolate polysaccharide from Capparis spinosa ripe fruits,determine the content of the polysaccharide and analyze its monosaccharide components.METHODS The contents were deternined by phenol-sulfuric acid method;HPCE was applied to analyze its monosaccharides.RESULTS The content of the coarse polysaccharide and purified polysaccharide(after getting rid of protein by sevage) were 39.95% and 66.42%,respectively.The polysaccharides were mainly composed of Rha∶Xyl∶Glu∶(Fru and Man)∶Ara∶Gal=3∶(5∶48)∶100∶21∶19.CONCLUSION The optimized way of coloration of phenol-sulfuric acid method can be easily controlled and operated;HPCE is a good way to analyze the monosaccharide components of polysaccharides.
