Title: Photochemical Bleaching of Poplar CTMP Based on Singlet Oxygen Mechanism
Abstract: Photochemical bleaching of pulp based on singlet oxygen mechanism is a novel environmentally friendly bleaching method. The article investigated mainly photochemical bleaching of pulp based on singlet oxygen mechanism by using self-assembly device for photochemical bleaching. In the experiments, Tinolux -BBS and methylene blue(MB) were used as photosensitizers to activate oxygen into singlet oxygen. According to orthogonal experiment of L9(34), the influence of primary factors on photochemical bleaching was determined and the optimum bleaching conditions of BBS and MB as photosensitizers were found. Influence on color of pulp by photosensitizers were also discussed.
