The oxidation behaviors of two coatings at high temperature were investigated by TGA, XRD, SEM with an energy-dispersive X-ray analysis attachment (SEM/EDS). The results show that the YSZ coating and the MSZ coating possess good high-temperature oxidation resistance properties at 900 ℃; the phase transformation formed in the outer layer of the MSZ coating at 1000 ℃ leads to the cracking of the coating, which impairs the oxidation resistance and service life of the coating; compared with the MSZ coating, the YSZ coating has superior oxidation resistance due to no phase transformation appearing in the coating at 1000℃.Read More
