Title: Wavelet Analysis Results of Gravity Anomalies and Its Geological Significance in Hefei Basin
Abstract: The distribution pattern of Bouguer gravity anomalies in Hefei basin has been described in detail,and the 1st order to the 4th order wavelet details were calculated.Based on the comparison of characters among different order wavelet details and with the whole character of Bouguer gravity anomalies,new information on the evolution of the boundary faults and sedimentary range was obtained.The west boundary fault,Zhouji-Wuji fault,could be extended to Dabie orogen.The south boundary between Shucheng and Xiaotian shifted southwards,and the current boundary could be placed around Longhekou.The continuity of the east boundary fault,Tanlu fault,becomes better as the depth increases,which illustrates that the present Tanlu fault is the compositive results of different tectonic events.Since early Jurassic,the distribution of the sediments in the basin have changed from the south basin to the whole basin firstly,and then shrank gradually and was separated into several sedimentary centers.
