Abstract:In order to explore the mechanisms of Nano-carbon on crop growth facilitation, a pot experiment with different nitrogen supplied levels were conducted to study the effects of Nano-carbon on nitrogen a...In order to explore the mechanisms of Nano-carbon on crop growth facilitation, a pot experiment with different nitrogen supplied levels were conducted to study the effects of Nano-carbon on nitrogen absorption and root activity of maize. The results showed that maize biomass in N1+C(Nitrogen150 mg· kg-1+Nano-carbon), N2+C(Nitrogen 200 mg· kg-1+Nano-carbon) and N0+C(no nitrogen+ Nanocarbon) treatments increased 4%, 12.29% and 32.60% than N1(Nitrogen 150 mg· kg- 1), N2(Nitrogen 200mg· kg- 1) and handling N0(no nitrogen)treatments, and N uptake by maize increased 9.09%, 8.33% and42.86%, respectively. In addition, addition of Nano-carbon affects maize root and soil enzyme activities. The maize root activities were 2.2, 2.3 and 1.9 times than those of without Nano-carbon treatments, respectively.Urease activities increased by 7.89%, 28.26% and 28.57%, respectively. Therefore, Nano-carbon enhanced roots activities of corn, and promoted the absorption of nitrogen, resulting in the growth of maize.Read More
