Title: Determination of Chlorogenic Acid and Acetylsalicylic Acid in Compound Cold Capsule by HPLC
Abstract: Objective To establish a method for determination of chlorogenic acid and acetylsalicylic acid in compound cold capsule. Methods HPLC was used to quantitative ananlysis. The SHIMADZU VP-ODS column (250 mm×4.6 mm, 5 μm) was used, mobile phase for chlorogenic acid was composed of acetonitrile-0.4% phosphoric acid solution (10∶90). Detection wavelength was at 327 nm, mobile phase for acetylsalicylic acid was composed of acetonitrile-0.3% phosphoric acid solution (25∶75). Detection wavelength was at 227 nm, the flow rate was 1.0 mL/min, the injection volume was 10 μL. Results The linear response range was 0.0524~0.2620 μg of chlorogenic acid (r2=1, n=6). The average recovery of chlorogenic acid was 103.87%, RSD=0.75%;The linear response range was 0.122~1.22 μg of acetylsalicylic acid (r2=0.9996, n=6). The average recovery of acetylsalicylic acid was 98.11%, RSD=3.33%. Conclusion This method can be used for quality control of compound cold capsule. It was simple, rapid and reliable.
