Title: An Experimental Study on the Effect of Salvia Miltiorrhiza in Improving Postburn Intestinal Ischemia
Abstract: Objective To explore the effect and the mechanism of Salvia Miltiorrhiza in improving the postˉburn intestinal ischemia.Methods88Wistar rats were randomly divided into three groups,i.e.normal group(8rats),scalded control group(40rats)and treatment group(40rats).The rats in the scalded control group and treatˉment group were scalded and model established with the deep partial thickness scald wound about30%.All the models were resuscitated with Ringer's solution, treatment group was injected with Salvia Miltiorrhiza into enteroˉcoelia, once per8h.The scalded control group was given the same volume saline. The intestinal mucosa blood flow(IMBF),endothelin(ET),nitric oxide(NO)were determined dynamically at3,6,12,24and48postscald hours. Results After scalding, the IMBF was obviously lower than before(P0.01),but the IMBF in scalded control group decreased more obviously(P0.01,P0.05).Compared with the normal group,ET and NO inˉcreased(P0.01)in the scalded control group and treatment group. After treatment with Salvia Miltiorrhiza,ET decreased(P0.01,P0.05)and NO increased(P0.01,P0.05).there is obvious negative correlation(r=-0.89,P0.01)between the ration of ET/NO and IMBF.Conclusions Salvia Miltiorrhiza can obviously improve IMBF,the mechanism is closely related to the volume of ET/NO,moderating the ration of ET/NO.
