Abstract: a: The shaping of children's moral character is not only an outcome of external elements, but also a process of interaction between an individual and external elements. Viewed from the angle of psychology, the role of internet in the shaping of teenagers' character may include: 1. Internet helps teenagers with their self-understanding of moral qualities by which to discipline themselves; 2. Internet helps teenagers to broaden their horizon concerning moral qualities and raise their ability to make a judgment on moral qualities; 3. Internet favors teenagers in the development of their social behaviors; 4. Internet helps teenagers with reformation of moral qualities in order to form the characters of their own; 5. Internet is good for teenagers in building up a new sense of morality. Efforts have to made to bring into full play the initiative of every sector of the society - individual, school, family and society - to make internet favorable for the children's moral education.
