Title: CHARACTERISTICS OF BACTERIAL COMMUNITY IN LONG-TERM OIL POLLUTED SOIL
Abstract: PCR-DGGE was used to investigate the structure of bacterial community in oil contaminated soil. The results showed that the bacterial community responded remarkably to the environmental stress in the heavy petroleum hydrocarbons polluted area with a content of 30mg/g(based on the mass of dry soil). And the relative quantity of some members of genera Lactococcus sp.and Achromobacter sp.remarkably increased, which might play an important role in the oil degradation. The analysis of bacterial community structure would provide crucial foundation in the theory for microbial remediation of polluted soils.
