The clinical symptoms and quality of life were assessed with positive and negative symptoms scale (PANSS) and world health organization quality of life (WHO.QOL) respectively before and 1, 2, 3, 6 months after treatment.Resuls The degree of the improvement of the psychopathology was similar within the three groups. After treatment for 6 months, the 3 drugs all could improve the total assessment of patients’ life quality. Risperidone could significantly improve every aspect of patient's life quality except physical domain and spirit domain, while clozapine only improved the psychology domain, and quetiapine significantly improved psychology domain and environment domain. Conclusion Risperidone is more favorable for schizophrenia patients to return to society than clozapine and quetiapine. Quetiapine is also an ideal drug which is valuably popularized in clinical practice.Read More
