Title: Combined use of TUVP and TURP for treatment of middle-high degree benign prostatic hyperplasia:(report of 428 cases)
Abstract: Objective: To explore the method and effect of the combined use of transurethral vaporization of prostate (TUVP) and transurethral electroresection of prostate (TURP). Methods: Combined TUVP and TURP was undertaken for 428 cases of middle-high degree bengin prostatic hyperplasia. Results: The therapeutic efforts were satisfactory. The average surgical time was short. The endocsopic view was clear and with little bleeding. No transurethral resection syndrome and the other serious complications were fond. Conclusions: Combined use of TUVP and TURP has advantages of the both. It is a safe and effective way in the treatment of BPH Patient.
