Abstract:Soil deformations,water level descents and collapses caused by urban subway construction,especially the underground-cut tunnel construction,for the reason of passing through under the buildings and th...Soil deformations,water level descents and collapses caused by urban subway construction,especially the underground-cut tunnel construction,for the reason of passing through under the buildings and the underground pipeline systems will affect the above municipal facilities and buildings seriously.Monitoring during the construction will find the problems promptly and guarantee the construction safety.Consequently construction monitoring is necessary in the urban subway construction.The tunnels of Guangzhou No.2 subway,part of Haizhu Square station to Front Park station,16-25m undersurface,above which there are dense old buildings,are constructed with mining method underground-cut.This paper discusses in detail the monitoring arrangement,item determination,instruments,methods,data disposal and result analysis.Monitoring items are well-set;the datum are continuous,complete,detailed and strongly regular and are worthy of farther analysis.The monitoring for hazard prevention succeeds in ensuring the safty of the subway construction and is therefore worthy of using as reference.Read More
