Title: Space-Time Coupling Analysis of Climate Change and Runoff in Hexi Inland Arid Region:A Case Study of Heihe River Valley in the Middle Region of Hexi Corridor
Abstract: Based on the technology of ArcGIS and kriging insert-value means of geo-statistic method, the temperature date, precipitation, evaporation and runoff date of 25 weather and hydrological stations in recent 50 years have been analyzed, and the inter-decadal change scope of temperature, precipitation, evaporation and runoff have been showed that are visible.the result show that the changes of temperature, evaporation, precipitation and runoff differed in different areas and decades, reflects the space-time coupling function of atmosphere-circumfluence-terrain and land situation: air temperature have raised entirely from 1960s in the study areas and raised typically in 1980s and 1990s with mountain areas raised about 0.5~0.6℃ and plain-hungriness areas above 0.5℃,mwanwhile,the precipitation of west and middle area of this region that affected by west wind had increased, the precipitation of the northwest part raised by 1.5% between 1950s and 1960s and the middle part reduced about -1%,and showed a otherness lie in the direction of northwest-southeast, and the precipitation raised in the mountain and west wind affected areas in 1960s and 1970s, and start from 1980s the west part raised and east part reduced. Affected by the space otherness of temperature and precipitation, the runoff of the west part increased from 1990s but the east part not increased even reduced. The formation of runoff are more reliable in precipitation than air temperature, but the temperature arise in winter may make the ice melt became earlier and increase runoff in spring. The changes of precipitation and runoff in upper valley showed coherence very well with the variation coefficient of runoff 1.3444 and precipitation 1.4823.The air temperature caused more evaporation in plain areas than that of mountain areas with the stations that lies in plain have higher correlation coefficients of evaporation and air temperature. Besides, the temperature in man-made oasis plain areas raised lower about 0.3~0.5℃ with the influence of the microclimate effect caused by the oasis.
