Title: Application of Genetic Algorithms in the Synthesis of Radiation Pattern of Array Antenna
Abstract: A real coded genetic algorithm is applied to synthesize the array antenna pattern.The maximum relative sidelobe level of antenna arrary is optimized by controlling the amplitude, element positions based on genetic algorithm.It includes controlling the width of mainlobe level. Good results show that the genetic algorithm is an effective method for solving such problems and the sidelobe level can reach -33.6100dB,the characteristic of antenna arrary radition pattern is improved.Pattern synthesis of antenna array is actualized successfully using this approach. Genetic algorithm shows its good application potentials.
