Abstract:To observe the inhibitory effects of prescriptions of traditional Chinese medicine on growth of SARS-CoV in vitro.SARS-CoV strain BJ01were added on confluent layers of Vero-E6cells in96-well microplat...To observe the inhibitory effects of prescriptions of traditional Chinese medicine on growth of SARS-CoV in vitro.SARS-CoV strain BJ01were added on confluent layers of Vero-E6cells in96-well microplates,which were incubated at37℃in5%CO 2 incubator for2h.After adsorption,the cultured medium was thrown away and the different concentrations of prescriptions were added respectively.Then,the culture microplates were incubated for48-72h under the same conditions,and the cytopathogenicity induced by the virus were scored.The50%effective concentration(EC 50 )of Di-Kang injection,Lian-Hua-Qing-Wen capsule and Fu-Fang-Lian-Pu pellet was0.056,0.11and0.49mg /ml,respectively,and the treatment index(TI)of them was53.6,40.3and4.0,respectively.Three pre-scriptions of traditional Chinese medicine mentioned above were proved to have inhibitory effects on the SARS-CoV cultured in Vero-E6cells.Read More
