Title: Surveys on Residents' Cognitions and Requirements of Health Management Services in Zhabei District of Shanghai
Abstract: Objective To understand the residents' requirements and cognitions of health management services in nine communities in Zhabei district of Shanghai and to provide some reference for establishing effective and practical services modes in community health management.Methods Using questionnaire to get the data from 600 residents in Zhabei of Shanghai.Results There were 583 valid questionnaires finally.The rate of the cognition was 53.6%.Among the requirements of community health management services,the top 6 in order were: Physical check-up service,interpretations of inspection report,appointment services,aged health care,drug administration,and chronic disease management and the rate in turn were 57.8%,51.6%,50.9%,45.8%,44.3%,and 41.2%.Conclusion Health management was not cognized and accepted by the public.But it was approbated by the residents who had accepted and the potential requirement actually existed.We need to enhance publicity,guide consumption,improve health management system,so as to realize the great strategic goal,everyone will have access to basic health services.
