Title: Clinical observation of interventional treatment in diabetic foot
Abstract: Objective To assess the clinical effect of interventional treatment in diabetic foot.Methods 13 patients with diabetic foot were enrolled involving superficial femoral,tibial and fitular arteries.Among them 7 patients with irregular stenosis and obstruction were treated with intravascular angioplasty through balloon dilation,and 6 patients treated with intravascular stenting.Results The technical successful rate was 100%,no complication happened.The symptoms were relieved in all patients after treatment,including promotion of lower extremity arterial blood perfusion,reducing range of ampulation and wound healing after amputation.Conclusion DSA can assess the extent of arterial changes and interventional treatment can improve arterial blood perfusion to prevent deterioration of diabetic foot.Intravascular interventional treatment is safe,effective and valuable in diabetic foot.
