Title: Teachers' Involvements in Curriculum Reform
Abstract: Curriculum reform has always been the core of educational change around the world and the curriculum implementation often requires teachers to perform. But the teachers' statuses have always been ignored and their participation often as a passive executor in curriculum reform. With the development of curriculum reform, the roles of teachers and their involvements forms should also been changed. Through the review of curriculum reform cases in different regions, this study described the teachers' roles in the course of curriculum reform and illustrated factors which had effected teachers' participation in curriculum reform, and clarified it was the natural phenomena that teachers' resistance appeared in curriculum reform. Furthermore, the study proposed the necessity and importance of the establishment of the active context, and the interaction between government and teaching community. Those could support teachers' active involvement in curriculum reform and for the better implementation of current curriculum reform in China.
