Title: Analysis of mental health status of nursing postgraduate students and its influencing factors
Abstract: OBJECTIVE To investigate mental health status of graduate nursing students and its influencing factors. METHODS A total of 273 nursing postgraduate students were investigated with Symptom Checklist (SCL-90), Social Support Rating Scale (SSRS) and Coping Style Scale. RESULTS (1) The positive rate of SCL-90 was 12.45%. (2) The Logistic regression analysis showed that tuition source (OR = 2.982), self-blame coping style (OR = 2.731) were the nursing postgraduates’ mental health risk factors, age (OR = 0.242) , solving problem (OR = 0.357) were protective factors. CONCLUSION Nursing postgraduates’ mental health status is better, but there are still some psychological problems; Educators should pay attention to younger age, self-funded student groups, in nursing postgraduates’ education, masters need pay attention to the cultivation of their mature coping style.
