Title: PREDICTION OF ALTERNATIVE SPLICING SITES OF CASSETTE EXON AND INTRON RETENTION IN HUMAN GENOME
Abstract: Alternative splicing of mRNA is a basilic distinguishing feature between enkaryotes and prokaryotes, and alternative splicing of premessenger RNA exponentially expands proteomic diversity, at the same time it relates with tissue-specific process of organism. Here, the authors analysed some basic features of cassette exon and intron retention in human genome; and based on the conservation of nucleotides, di-nucleotides, and tri-nucleotides at splice sites the method of increment of diversity with quadratic discriminant analysis was used to predict the donor and acceptor splice sites of cassette exon and intron retention. The results showed cassette exon's prediction accuracy of alternative donor and acceptor splice sites have attained higher than 93% and 84% respectively; intron retention's prediction accuracy of alternative donor and acceptor splice sites have attained 89% and 81% respectively.
