The results show that 17 species of amphibians, belonging to 11 genera, 5 famil...The amphibians of Dahongjiang Nature Reserve of Guangxi were investigated with a method of route survey in August, 2006. The results show that 17 species of amphibians, belonging to 11 genera, 5 families, 1 order, are recorded in the reserve. The fauna is mainly composed of species distributed both in Central and South China Region, accounting for 64.7% of the whole species in the reserve. Altitude alternative distribution of 17 species of amphibians is not obvious. Compared to Longtan Nature Reserve, Diding Nature Reserve and Cenwanglaoshan Nature Nature Reserve that located in the west of Guangxi similarly, the similarity coefficient of amphibian communities in Dahongjiang Nature Reserve is higher. On the contrary, it has the smallest similarity coefficient than in Maoershan Nature Reserve and in Guilin Lijiang scenic spots of northeast of Guangxi.Read More
